Tldr We need changes to how/when people can see reaper on map. Theres a risk for reaper huge one, but wheres the risk for the other emissaries?Īlso im okey with a gold nerf to reaper, if it becomes "to easy" to get gold with reaper. Because no one will see you.īut you can see reaper at any point in time, no matter what. It defeats the purpose of being anti emissary, hell it's a bit to effective, as it keeps them off the server entirely.įor anyone saying "if u want pvp go arena." You've lost the point already and should re read.Įdit: Wanna add, atm theres ZERO risk taking gold hoarder, merchant or souls emissary. Leave immediatly.īut if everyone is able to see the reaper at all times, no one will ever raise an emissary while theres a reaper. But if your emissary is lets say lvl 3 and you see a reaper being raised, you know they can't see you yet, so you can make the decision A. Hell you'd probably sink the reaper before raising your own emissary flag, so you have nothing to give them upon your ship sinking.Īnother solution could be that reaper is only visible at lvl 5, but then the reward has been given to easy to a reaper, because there has to be some risk atleast. But as you hit 5, you want to go for emissaries, but no1 (unless they want to pvp) will ever go for emissary. No non emissary should ever see a reaper on the map.Īnd any emissary should have to reach a certain lvl like 3 or 4, before they can see reapers on the map.īecause just server hopping until you hit a server with more pve players or trying to join that discord server which supposedly promises pve servers, is just downright killing of the pvp.īecause reapers generally do not chase non emissaries, perhaps to lvl it, or do a fort or something. So to my suggestion as i have now described the issue.
I don't like dealing with driving a galleon, unless i have to because of friends joining and i do prefer friends over whatever ship i use. If i ever do get chased as a reaper it's ,mostly by a very experienced player, running with golden skin/tatto.Īnd fyi i go as sloop/brig when i go reaper. I had emissary 4 and a golden reaper chest on my boat for like an hour and not even one ship wanted to fight, hell they fled if i tried to chase. Sure it's easy as hell to get money with it, because as said people leave you the hell alone. Theres far to many pve heroes that if you go reaper, NO ONE is going to mess with you. Your only saving grace is that you're patient/lucky enough for a server merge to happen and that the new server has emissaries on it. If you're lvl 5 reaper? Ye theres no way anyones gonna raise a emissary flag, hell not even i would. My issue being a reaper is that, the moment they see you on map as they spawn in, they server hop.
I've been on the receiving end of being chased by a reaper and also chasing as a reaper, mostly chasing has been done recently as i've found it to be the far most lucrative emissary. I've gotten 3 emissaries to 50+, reaper is still about 39 atm. Now we can add one more goofy song to the list.Hello, so i've played this game for roughly 2 months, a bit on and off but for sure 100hrs+.
Reaper x gon give it to ya movie#
Movie trailers have been carrying the “sad rendition of popular songs” torch for years.
Melancholic tunes have been a staple of video game trailers since Gears of War ’s iconic “Mad World” pairing. I guess it’s lyrically appropriate, but even so, this is probably one of the silliest things I’ve heard all year. Instead of DMX forcefully telling us what he’s about to do, we’ve got a woman gently preparing us for some heartbreak, or something. But once someone pointed it out to me, it’s hard not to hear that the hyped-up tune was mellowed out for the purposes of a dramatic video game trailer. CrossfireX, an upcoming shooter from Smilegate Entertainment, debuted campaign footage that was accompanied by an unusual cover of the DMX classic “X Gon Give It to Ya.” The Xbox Games Showcase today was kind of uneventful, often relegated to showing off exactly what you’d expect from a Microsoft presser, but one moment stood out among all the trailers and world premieres.
